As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • El texto se adhiere a los requisitos estilísticos y biliográficos resumidos en las Directrices del autor/a, que aparecen en Acerca de la revista.
  • Si se envía a una sección evaluada por pares de la revista, deben seguirse las instrucciones en Asegurar una evaluación anónima.

RULES FOR AUTHORS

Manuscripts must be sent to the journal through the computer platform. For this, the author must register as a reader and author on the magazine's website and obtain a password and password. Once this step is completed, you can apply for the article or essay. Only if the platform presents a technical failure, (exceptional case) then it can be sent to the Editorial Board, CEDOTIC Magazine: editor.cedotic@gmail.com. However, those who apply must send the article through the platform in order to guarantee its possible publication, without exception.

The magazine will accept only those works that meet the following characteristics:

Those works derived from research or reflection framed in the topics indicated by the magazine in the calls, and that make new, innovative contributions will be preferably published; those with original positions have prevalence.

The magazine will publish a minimum of seven (7) works, and a maximum of nine (9) per issue.

1.) Article derived from scientific research. Work that presents, in a clear and detailed way, the original results of research projects. It is generally structured in four important sections: introduction, methodology, results and conclusions.

2) Short article. Brief work that presents preliminary or partial original results of a scientific or technological investigation, which generally requires rapid dissemination.

3) Book reviews. From recent books in the field of educational sciences, pedagogy and didactics. Its length must not exceed two pages

4) Trials. Of diverse subjects, as long as they have the rigor and the critical glance to approach subjects of general interest or specific of some academic discipline.

5) Papers must be written in word word processor, letter size (page), typed in space and a half, the paragraphs must be justified left and right homogeneously, without added styles, the pages must be numbered, with margins of 3 cm.

6) Papers will be written with APA standards in mind (American Psychological Association Publication Manual, 5th Edition, 2001). The citations in the text will be like this: Inside parentheses, the author's last name and the date of the work. If an author has two or more references from the same year, it differs with the alphabet in order (a, b, c ...). When the quotation is verbatim, after the date of the work, a colon and the cited page. If the statement includes the author's last name, only the date is written in parentheses, and the page number if it is verbatim. If the author is not mentioned in the statement, the surname and date are written in parentheses. If the quote is verbatim, it also has the page number. If the work has more than two authors, it is written the first time with all the last names. In subsequent statements, write only the last name of the first author, followed by the phrase et al. If there are more than six authors, et al. from the first mention.

7) The type of font used will be time new roman, size 12 points.

8) The works that include illustrations, photos, tables and charts must include them in the place they occupy and additionally they must be sent separately. Regarding the resolution of the images, it must be at least 300 DPI in JPG format.

9) Those works that include pictures, illustrations, photos and other graphics that are the property of a third party must attach a letter of permission from the author. In case they have been taken from the website or other means, and that they have no restriction on their publication, they must expressly indicate in the article where they were taken.

10). The length of the works should not be less than 15 pages, nor greater than 25, including graphics, photographs, illustrations, bibliographical references and others.

11) The papers should be written preferably in Spanish, but articles are received in English and Portuguese. The author must keep a copy of the article because the magazine does not return them.

12) The works should exclude properties and attributes such as tabulations, use of different fonts, decoration icons, gray text or any other addition, as well as underlines, bold or italics.

13) Bibliographic references.

The bibliography must be written in alphabetical order. Thus: Author's last names, first names followed by a comma, in parentheses, the publication date of the work. Followed by the name of the work. Editorial followed. For those steps in which book chapters or articles that are part of a collective work and magazine articles must be cited, the start and end pages of the respective work must be fully cited.
