El presente artículo analiza las condiciones de salubridad pública de Barranquilla en la primera mitad del siglo XX, analizando las condiciones de higiene que manejaba la ciudad para este periodo, tomando como eje la carencia de los servicios públicos o el poco cubrimiento que estos brindaban, también estudia la delincuencia como un nuevo problema que se enfrenta la población barranquillera debido al crecimiento urbano no planificado.

ABSTRACT

This article shows the conditions of public salubrity of Barranquilla in first half of XX century, analyzing the conditions of hygiene that handled the city for this period, taking like axis the lack from services public or the little cap that these offered, also it studies the delinquency like a new problem that faces the barranquillera population due to the not planned urban growth.
