Resumen (es)

Este artículo analiza el proceso de conformación de juntas provinciales en diferentes poblaciones de la Capitanía General de Venezuela luego del establecimiento de la Junta Suprema Conservadora de los Derechos de Fernando VII el 19 de abril de 1810 en Caracas. Todas rechazaron la invasión napoleónica y manifestaron la necesidad de conservar estos territorios para el legítimo representante de la monarquía, sin olvidar que estos espacios fueron utilizados para expresar las inquietudes y demandas de sus miembros.

JUNTISTA MOVEMENT OF 1810 IN THE CAPTAIN GENERAL OF VENEZUELA

ABSTRACT

This article discusses the shaping process provincial committees in different populations of the Capitania General de Venezuela, after the establishment of the Junta Suprema Conservadora de los Derechos de Fernando VII 19 April 1810, Caracas. All these juntas rejected the Napoleonic invasion and expressed the need to conserve these areas to legitimate representative of the monarchy, without forgetting that these spaces were used to express the concerns and demands of its members.
