Abstract
Today we live in a context with innumerable ideological conflicts facing the migratory theme, not in its reductionist sense, but in the essentially broad approach of the prevailing ideology. The unequal character present in the distribution of world wealth, added to the numerous armed conflicts and climate change, generates a constant migratory phenomenon, where people start looking for new homes, new jobs and, above all, a decent life. However, the narrative of this phenomenon always takes place from a male and Eurocentered point of view and rarely with a focus on women, reinforcing an invisibility usually experienced by females, a fact that intensifies when blackness is added. Thus, following analysis of the Refugee Lives project and based on the study “Socioeconomic Profile of Refugees in Brazil”, the question is: in what media of the Refugee Lives project does it reflect the reality of migratory processes of black women in Brazil?
