CRÉDITOS, MONEDAS, COMERCIANTES Y PRESTAMISTAS. EL MERCADO FINANCIERO EN BARRANQUILLA ENTRE 1849 Y 1903

Este artículo analiza el mercado financiero de barranquilla durante la segunda mitad del siglo XIX mediante los protocolos notariales. Además describe los principales actores, instrumentos comerciales y financieros que se emplearon para transmitir los créditos en las diferentes ramas de la economía local.

ABSTRACT

This article analyzes the financial market of Barranquilla during the second half of the 19th century by trough the notary files. Also, it describe the principal actors, commercial instruments and financiers used to transmit the credits in the different branches of the local economy.
