Abstract
Los avances de la neurociencia intentan hacer impacto en el Derecho penal. Sus exponentes pretenden, como hipótesis de máxima, sustituir el paradigma del libre albedrío. Otros, más mesurados, aspiran a revisar el sub estrato de la imputabilidad e ingresar nuevas técnicas en el tratamiento sancionatorio. Por otra parte, los mejoramientos cerebrales parecen ser tierra fértil para la elaboración de una Política criminal tendiente a su regulación en los meandros criminales.

ABSTRACTThe advances in neuroscience trying to impact the Criminal law. Its exponents are intended as hypotheses of maximum, replace the paradigm of free will. Others, more modest, aspire to revise the sub state of accountability and enter new techniques in the punitive treatment. Moreover, brain improvements seems to be fertile ground for the development of criminal policy tending to their regulation in criminal meanders.
