As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • La petición no ha sido publicada previamente, ni se ha presentado a otra revista (o se ha proporcionado una explicación en Comentarios al editor).
  • El fichero enviado está en formato OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, o WordPerfect.
  • Se han añadido direcciones web para las referencias donde ha sido posible.
  • El texto tiene interlineado simple; el tamaño de fuente es 12 puntos; se usa cursiva en vez de subrayado (exceptuando las direcciones URL); y todas las ilustraciones, figuras y tablas están dentro del texto en el sitio que les corresponde y no al final del todo.
  • El texto cumple con los requisitos bibliográficos y de estilo indicados en las Normas para autoras/es, que se pueden encontrar en Acerca de la revista.
  • Si esta enviando a una sección de la revista que se revisa por pares, tiene que asegurase que las instrucciones en Asegurando de una revisión a ciegas) han sido seguidas.

Guidelines for authors.

Those interested in submitting articles should send them to the email legem@mail.uniatlantico.edu.co, meeting the following requirements:

  1. That the article submitted for publication is original and unpublished;
  2. That the article is not simultaneously postulated for publication in other magazines or editorial bodies.
  3. The final document must be sent in Word file, letter size sheet, leaving a margin of 2.5 cm on all four edges, Font type (letter) Arial 12, line spacing 1.5. Length: not less than 12, nor more than 30 pages.
  4. Citation Standard: APA. Exceptionally, you can use footers for comments or clarifications.

 

Formal structure of the article

The article must present the following structure:

1.1. Article name: Full title in the original language of the article, centered at the top of the page, in lower case. If the article is a partial or final result of research, indicate it at the foot of the page. If necessary, indicate the research group to which it belongs, as well as the institutional affiliation.

1.1.2 English translation of the article title (centered, below the original title, in lowercase sustained)

1.2. Name of the author (s):

1.2.1 Full name (s), of each and every one of the authors and co-authors (By footnote call, with numbers, include a brief summary of the resume, not more than four lines for each author ).

1.2.2 Mention of the affiliation institution of each of the authors (the exclusive use of acronyms is not considered valid).

1.2.3 Mention the country where the author's affiliation institution is located (abbreviations are not considered valid).

1.2.4 Mention of the email of at least one of the authors.

1.3. Summary (between 50 and 150 words). - in the original language of the article.

1.4. Keywords (Maximum 5). - in the original language of the article.

1.5. Abstract: it is the same content of the “summary in Spanish”, written in the English language.

1.6. Key words: these are the same terms as the “key words”, written in the English language.

1.7. Introduction.

1.8. Optional methodology according to the type of article.

1.9. Development includes progress, results or findings, in the case of investigations.

1.10. Conclusions.

1.11. References: Not less than 15 texts or documents.

 

3. ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS

1. The authors must send an updated resume and a list of the publications made in the last 2 years (if any).

2. To make the publication effective, the authorization of the respective author will also be required by means of a written document.

Remember that: for the publication of articles it is essential that they comply with each and every one of the previously established requirements, otherwise they will be returned.
