Abstract
This article is a conceptual approach to the problem of the culture of peace in the post-conflict in Colombia. In the first place, the article states the difference between the disarmament of the war actors in Colombia (FARC) and the building of a peace cultre, which will implicate a leap towards greater democratization of society, including greater social justice and equal rights. Moreover a change of mind that leads to decent treatment, greater tolerance, recognition of the other and the incorporation of all subjects in the social fabric. The latter would be a much longer process and touches all social structures and institutions within education plays a key role. The method used is based on the contextual interpretation of Colombian reality, with a view to a possible post-conflict in Colombia.
