Teaching of Social Sciences in the context of globalization and Social Rule of Law

Abstract
This article is reflective nature, addresses the teaching of social sciences in the context of globalization and the rule of law, in its commitment to the formation of a citizen according to the principles and purposes of education. Redefines the teaching praxis, from the epistemological perspective of critical theory from its emancipatory character that reveals the silences of the phenomenon of globalization and contributes to the problematization of reality everyday the educable subject. The education of social Sciences in Colombian state is framed in two contexts: the Social State of Right and world-wide globalization. This reality raises educational challenges to those who work on this area of the knowledge: first, to face a curriculum that every day gives priority to the technical and scientific knowledge and on the other hand, the formation of a citizen according to the principles of the Social State of Right. This framework is what the present article deals with.
